In commemoration of its first ever convention in Port Harcourt,the Rivers State capital,Rhema Chapel International Churches Port Harcourt, (an arm of the ever Increasing Word Ministries) has put in place a number of Power-packed programmes towards meeting the spiritual needs of the people while appreciating God for his faithfulness in the life of the installation for growing in the reality of the divine mandate of the call of God over the Apostolic Oversight,Reverend George Adegboye .
The event scheduled to start on Thursday was preceded by a rally which heralded the coming of age of the church in Port Harcourt. The rally had been marked by a rich procession by different segments of the church,up to the leadership cadre.With dance and music on the Stadium Road leading to some parts of Rumuomasi and Rumuola, those on the road show distributed handbills as they come across people on their way.
The programme which comes under the theme: Walking in His Power ( in alignment with the ministry’s theme for the Year 2020),according to the organizers, will be showcasing an array of men of God and music ministers among whom are three past Ministers – in- Charge from Lagos and Abuja,apart from music ministers who were expected to light up the occasion with faith inspiring songs.
In a brief remark, the M.I.C, Pastor Abiola Ajadi described the anniversary as a new beginning for the ministry in Port Harcourt.
He assured that the power of God will come down like never before as anointed men of God gather with their diverse gifts and callings.
He called on members of the public to troop out and grace the occassion to enjoy the blessings of God.
The organizers also informed that the occasion will coincide with the send forth of the immediate past Minister-in- Charge, Min. Supo Olageshin during the anniversary grand finale on Sunday with a special gala night.
