The general public are hereby informed that the 2nd Eze Clifford Cheta Nwuche Memorial Lecture will still hold as scheduled on Saturday, 28th December 2019 at the Upata Civic Centre, Edeoha Town, Ahoada East LocalGovernment Area by11am.
This year’s Lecture topic is: “Future of Oil And The Oil Of The Future: Connecting The Nexus” and will be delivered by Bobo Sofiri Brown,Fnipr.
Amaopusenibo Bobo Sofiri Brown is a distinguished Niger Delta voice and a former President of the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations. One time General Manager ( External Affairs) of Shell Petroleum Development Company, he is the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of GRAIN Consulting Limited.
He once called on the Federal Government to fashion out sustainable means of enhancing the socio-political and economic prospects of citizens which, aptly fits the lecture topic.
As earlier stated, top traditional rulers, government functionaries, captains of industries, politicians, clergies, youth groups, friends and well wishers of Upata Kingdom including Alhaji Umar Ghali Na’abba, Chairman of the occasion, are expected at the event.
The one day event will witness cultural displays and other activities that dignifies Upata people.
