Atleast three persons were injured when unknown persons detonated explosives suspected to be dynamites at Ojukwu field,Mile 1 Diobu, PortHarcourt, Rivers State, venue of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Governorship campaign in Rivers State on Thursday, January 19,2023.
An eyewitness who gave his name as Itah told Revelation Agents that they were already seated for the commencement of the campaign when they heard a sound which resulted to panic and pandemonium as people scampered for safety.
The eyewitness said stampede was averted by the intervention of the Police and other security agents at the venue that brought the situation under control .
The eyewitness disclosed that at three persons sustained injury but the campaign proceeded afterwards
