The Akwa/Ibom State Governor,Pastor Umo Bassey Eno has approved the appointment of six high court judges.
A statement on Friday, 13th December,2024 by the Secretary to the State Government(SSG),Prince Enobong Uwah disclosed that upon the recommendation of National Judicial Council(NJC),the Akwa /Ibom State Governor Umo Bassey Eno approved the following legal officers as high court judges:
1.Umohandi Mfon Winifried Esq
2.Ekanem Bassey James Esq
3.Essien Bassey Iwakaowo
4.Morrison Comfort Henry
5.Ntekim Edet Ekpo
6.Eddie Sharon Julius
The Statement added that the swearing in of the newly appointed high court judges by the Governor is scheduled on Monday 16th December,2024 at Banquet hall Government house,Uyo by 4pm.
