Governor Siminalayi Fubara has appointed a Vice Chancellor to take charge of affairs of Rivers State University(RSU) for the next five years.
The Secretary to Rivers State Government(SSG),Tammy Wenike Danagogo on Thursday,6th,March,2025 said Sir Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS, Governor of Rivers State, has approved the appointment of Prof. Isaac Zeb-Obipi, as the new Vice Chancellor of the Rivers State University, Nkpolu-Oroworukwo, Port Harcourt.
The SSG stated that the appointment takes immediate effect.
Recall that Professor Sunday Okogbule the immediate past Vice Chancellor of RSU bowed out after expiration of his tenure recently.
