The Peoples Democratic Party,PDP has told its members in Benue state,Nigeria to ensure the victims of Auto crash who are mainly members of the party did not die in vain by making sure they win the general elections come 2019
In a statement released and signed by the Peoples Democratic Party National Publicity Secretary,Kola Ologbondiyan ,the party said it is particularly pained by the fact that these party faithfuls died on their way to PDP Benue South Senatorial district campaign flag-off in their quest to ensure acceptable,people oriented representation of the zone in Senate
PDP in the statement commended the Governor of Benue state,Samuel Ortom ,leaders and members of the party for their intervention and charged members of the party from other states to join in extending hands of fellowship to the bereaved and the wounded victims while praying for peaceful repose of the soul of the dead and speedy recovery of the wounded victims,PDP deeply condoles with the families of the bereaved,PDP Benue state chapter as well as people and Government of the state
