Residents of Rumuchi street in Rumuakini Obi/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers state Nigeria disarmed and arrested an armed robbery suspect early hours of last Saturday, December 29th,2018 Revelation Agents News learnt
A landlord in the area Gift Didia who is from Ubima town in Ikwerre local Government Area told Revelation Agents Online News that the armed robbers numbering three invaded a compound at Rumuchi street near transformer bustop at Rumuakini at the wee hours of last Saturday.
He revealed that two went inside the compound while one stood outside. Our source stated that the one who stood outside was disarmed by a passersby whom him tried to rob while the other two inside the compound scaled through the fence and escaped when they observed their colleague has been apprehended
He said”the residents later handed him over to men of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad(F-SARS) at Rupokwu,PortHarcourt
The Police is yet to confirm the incident as efforts made to speak with the Spokesperson of Rivers state Police command as at press time proved abortive
