In a statement by His media aide in Lagos on Monday 31st December,2018 Segun Adeyemi,the Minister said the radio interview by Senator Bukola Saraki that He donated 10 Million naira when He visited offa to commiserate with the victims even when He(Saraki) said that 7Million was the actually money stolen from the bank vault is a lie.The Minister said the claim by Saraki is false as He did not donate a dime when He visited Offa
The Minister stated that the 10 Million naira He was making reference to was when Offa market gut fire and the money was donated in Illorin not Offa
The Minister revealed that Dr.Saraki haven noticed that He goofed caused the radio station to edit the interview removing all the place that Offa was mentioned before re-airing the interview
Lai Mohammed noted that instead of the Senator to feel remorse He has continued to over aggressively insult Him for warning Him(Saraki) to desist from playing politics with the lives of people of Offa
