We gathered that old female prostitute who are no longer attractive to male customer goes to interior villages and community to deceive parents of teenage girls that they want to use them as house maid
Our source revealed that the moment they are able to convince the parents of the girls and bring them to the brothel in PortHarcourt, they force the teenage girls between the ages of fourteen to sixteen years to swear to an oath not to go back or tell their parents what is happening
The source hinted that the old prostitute refer as “Madam” discuss price with potential customers on behalf of the teenage girls and also collects money from male customers while the girls sleeps with the customers
We learnt that the under age girls usually serves their “Madam” for 6 -12 months during which period the “Madam” will only be buying them foods,clothes and creams while the “Madam” retains the whole money from the sex the girls offers the clients
We further gathered that the girls are free to be on their own after period of 6 to 12 months while the “Madam” goes back to the village to get more teenagers
Revelation Agents Online contacted Effeh Ekirika,South -South Zonal Commander of National Agency for Prohibition of Trafficking In Persons(NAPTIP) June ,2018 to find out what the agencies is doing to end the menace and He told our reporter that the Agency cannot be every at the same time,that the reporter should report to the Police,please.
Investigations showed that some of the brothels engaged in such act is located along Azikiwe street
Mile 2,Diobu,PortHarcourt,Rivers state which leds to Rivers state University back gate and some in remote villages in Rivers state
Our under cover reporter visited the brothel and saw teenage girls standing half nude close to the main road even on new year day to woo male customers
Meanwhile PortHarcourt residents interviewed by Revelation Agents has blamed the increase in the menace on negligence on the part of NAPTIP
The residents lamented the negligence of duties and responsibility by NAPTIP South-South zone which is giving the prostitution cartel the boldness to continue with the nefarious act
As at press time the NAPTIP South-South commander,Effeh Ekirika is yet to respond to text messages sent to his mobile line by Revelation Agents Online News
