The Rivers Commissioner of Police,CP Usman Belel has said the force enlighten its men that you can trample on somebody’s right and go scout free
The Commissioner stated this in an exclusive chat with Revelation Agents Online News Today in Police Headquarters in Port Harcourt in Rivers state, Nigeria
He said “We do not take complaints of Human rights abuses lightly, we make sure erring officers are punished whenever such abuses occurs”
CP belel revealed that Nigerian Police Force always lecture and train its men on Human rights issues
On the forth coming election He said” election is a call to civic duty, we partner with all necessary stakeholders to enlighten members of the public that violence does not pay”
He said “We also partner with religious organization to appeal to conscience of people to shun violence, we also have seminar on Monday with Civil Society Organization and other stakeholders on the need to have free, fair and transparent election
