Some suspects who were released from the headquarters of anti- cultism in Port Harcourt, Rivers State Police command in Nigeria has claimed that some officials of the anti-cultism unit allegedly told them to swear to an oath in presence of a deity, Revelation Agents Online News reports
Some of the suspects who were arrested by officials of anti-cultism at Wokoma lane,Mile 3 diobu, Port Harcourt, Rivers state, Nigeria yesterday October 19th ,2018 alleged that some of the officials of the anti-cultism will ask you to swear infront of the deity which was impounded from a “Juju priest” suspected to be sponsoring cult boys that if you are a cultist let the deity strike you dead, if you are not the deity set you free.
One of the suspects alleged that his friend by name promise took the oath in the presence of the deity.
Although another suspect who was released told Revelation Agents Online News that a senior officer who saw his friend who wanted to take the oath cautioned the junior officer who asked his friend to take the oath to desist from such act.
The spokesperson of Rivers state Police Command,Omoni Nnamdi asked Revelation Agents Online News to send one of the clips of the chat the released suspects had with this online platform, which Revelation Agents Online News did.
Nnamdi Omoni, spokesperson of Rivers state Police command declined to comment on the matter after receiving the clip as He neither picked his calls nor responded to text messages our reporter sent to him.
