The Inspector General of Police in Nigeria, IGP mni,Mohammed Adamu has ordered for massive manhunt for the perpetrators of attack on Agudama,Ekpetiama Police Station which resulted to the death of the Divisional Police Officer(DPO) SP Ola Rosanla and three others while two were injured
IGP Mohammed made the order in a statement released by the Nigerian Police on its official twitter handle Monday afternoon, July 1,2019
IGP Mohammed condemned the attack and stated that the incident is a typical risk and sacrifice made by Police Officers in service to their father land
IGP Mohammed in the meantime has ordered for immediate deployment of Intelligence Response Unit of Inspector General of Police team,Marine Police unit ,Forensic and Homicide unit of FCID to Bayelsa for investigation of the incident
IGP Mohammed urged the people of Agudama to remain calm and avail the Police any useful information that can lead to the arrest of the perpetrator
It will be recalled that unknown gunmen attacked the Police station around 2:00am Monday morning,killed the DPO and three officers and also carted away arms and ammunitions
