Armed gang suspected to be cultists have killed five persons in Taabaa on Wednesday morning and four others in Okwale community Tuesday evening, Revelation Agents has learned.
Revelation Agents gathered that a total of eight houses were destroyed in the communities invaded by the cultists.
The house of the traditional ruler of Taabaa community was also destroyed.
The cause of the latest attack is unknown but a source in the community who preferred to be anonymous told our reporter that the suspected cultists accused some prominent persons in the community of working with security agencies to effect their arrest.
The spokesperson of Rivers state Police command, Nnamdi Omoni confirmed the incident while adding that the command has dispatched its men to the area.
In the meantime, so many natives have fled from the community
