Social Media, a critical tool in crime fighting – IGP Adamu
The Nigerian Inspector General Of Police IGP Mohammed Adamu at the closing ceremony of a 4 – day training workshop for all police spokepersons, advised Public Relations Officers to take advantage of the social Media in engaging the publics in crime related issues and awareness creation.
The partipants were presented with certificates and assured of continuous training to meet up with modern policing trends in combating misinformation and fake news.
The training was coordinated by resource persons from the School of Media and Communication, Pan Atlantic University, Lagos.
