Suspected cultists on Monday 14 October 2019 invaded Omordu clan in Ubima community in Ikwerre local Government area of Rivers State and killed one person Revelation Agents has learned.
We learned that suspected Iceland cult members attacked the community and killed a suspected member of rival ‘Deygbam cult groups’.
Ubima community in recent times has been embroiled in cult crisis. We also gathered that some many persons have fled from the area.
In another development ,renewed cult clash which started on Sunday 13 October,2019 claimed four lives in Okehi headquarters of Etche local Government area of Rivers State.The clash is said to be between ‘Deygbam and Dewell Cult groups.
The Chairman of Etche local Government area,Hon.Obinna Anyanwu in his reaction revealed that combined team of security operatives comprising of the Police and Nigeria Army have been drafted to the area.
The Spokesperson of Rivers State Police command Nnamdi Omoni did not respond to text messages sent to his mobile phone on enquiries into the incident.
