Reports say Youths suspected to come from Ogbakiri in Emohua local Government area of Rivers State reportedly went on violent protest on Sunday night 24 November 2019 at Rumuosi over reports of discovery of dead body of one Miss Charity Ohaka in a well close to her self contain apartment.
Miss Ohaka who is said to be a native of Ogbakiri was reportedly kidnapped last week Friday from her residence. We learned that her neighbours became curious when they started perceiving unpleasant odours oozing out from the well. We gathered that the neighbours engaged the service of a local diver who recovered the corpse of Miss Ohaka from the well.
Our source explained that upon hearing the news, the Youths went on violent protest destroying vechiles and looting shops. We further learned that the Youths were dispersed by the Police.
The Spokesperson of Rivers State Police command,Nnamdi Omoni was yet to speak on the matter at press time as he did not respond to text messages sent to his mobile line
