……Arrests One Suspect
The Lagos State Police command has rescued Onyiwara Faith Chinwe a female Youth Corper who was abducted on 29 November 2019 on her way to attend CDS meeting at Ilamija Epe. We learned the Youth Corper was rescued at about 2:20am today morning 3 December 2019 at a swamp forest around Ilamija Nla Epe area of Lagos State, Nigeria in an operation led by the Lagos State, Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu
The kidnappers had already demanded 50 million naira but reduced it to four hundred thousand naira and asked the Manager of the ABC farm where the Corp member is serving to drop the ransom at Ijebu Okosa area of the state.
Meanwhile Moses Ojeye one of the suspects who sustained serious injuries in a gun duel with the Police was arrested.
At Press time,the Corp member is at an undisclosed hospital receiving medical attention.
The Parents of the victim have also commended the Commissioner of Police and coordinator of National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) in Lagos State for their efforts.
