The Lagos State Police Command says it has arrested two armed robbers who specializes in robbing of stores and people in traffic. A statement released by a Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Disu Tunji on his verified twitter handle on 15 Sunday 2019 who is also the head of Rapid Response Squad(RRS) in Lagos explained that the two suspects were arrested at Moore road close to University of Lagos with the assistance of the public.
DCP Tunji Disu revealed that an operational motor bike and locally made pistol was recovered from the suspects. He added that the Commissioner of Police in Lagos State has ordered the suspects to be transferred to Special Anti-Robbery Squad
