Chairman of the Alliance National Party (ANP), Rivers State chapter, Hon Ndubuisi Amadi has enjoined the people of Rivers State to remain united in order to ensure development of the state.
In a new year message to the people of the state , Hon Amadi said, “Despite political, religious or ethnic differences, the wellbeing of the State should remain paramount, saying, no meaningful development would take place in an atmosphere of acrimony.
“I want to use the occasion of the 2020 new year celebration to call on the good people of Rivers State to set aside their ethnic, political and religious differences and work for the betterment of our dear state. This is the only state we have and it can only develop when we are united” the statement said.
He urged Rivers people to be prayerful and believe in God in their endeavours, noting that without God’s approval, their efforts would be fruitless.
The ANP chieftain also tasked the State Government to embark on people-oriented projects that would positively impact on the lives of the people.
He further called on party faithfuls to have faith in the leadership of the party at all levels as efforts are being made to reposition the party to make more impact in the State.
Amadi prayed for God’s direction to all categories of leaders in the State especially and the country at large to steer the affairs of the State and Nation to enviable heights.
