The PortHarcourt Electricity Distribution Company(PHED) says the current power outage affecting customers of Port Electricity Distribution Company at Woji Estate, Akon and Nvigwe is due to a faulty cable at Woji Injection Substation that occurred on Friday, January 10, 2020.

The company made the disclosure in a press statement released on Saturday 11 January 2020 and signed by John Onyi,Manager Corporate Communications PHED. The statement revealed that effort is already in place to ensure that the faulty cable is fixed and as soon as it is completed, power supply will restored.

PHED, therefore, solicits for the patience of the affected customers while waiting for restoration of supply.
