Gunshots rocked Ikoku axis of Ikwerre road in Diobu,PortHarcourt following protest by mechanic personnel in the area over the alleged torturing to death of Chima Ikwunado by Eagle crack Police unit in Rivers.
The protesters are demanding for the prosecution of the officers involved in the alleged killing.
The immediate Elder brother of Chima Ikwunado had told Revelation Agents that his brother was tortured to death by the Police.
The spokesperson of Rivers State Police command DSP Nnamdi Omoni had disclosed in a statement that the Commissioner of Police, CP Dandaura Mustapha had ordered investigation into the incident. He further stated that the commander of the unit told him that autopsy report showed that Chima died of high sugar.
