A married woman escaped being divorced by her husband after a CCTV footage captured an Hausa man simply identified as Bashiro breaking into her husband’s shop and carted away large amount of money.
The incident occured at Azikiwe street close to Rivers State University back gate in Mile 11 Diobu,Port Harcourt,Rivers State,Nigeria.
The husband had threatened to divorce his wife over incessant loss of money in the shop both of them operates.
Our source revealed that due to the frequency of the money theft,the woman’s husband installed a CCTV camera unknown to his wife.
The source disclosed that the camera captured the said Bachiro breaking into the shop and stealing large amount of money last Thursday at about 11:45PM.
Bachiro was seen entering the shop and carting away money in the CCTV footage cited by our reporter.
The suspect has been arrested by the Eagle Crack Police Unit at Mile I Diobu where he is undergoing interrogation.
Residents of the street and members of vigilante group confirmed the incident to our reporter.
