Two Carveton Helicopter Pilots Samuel Urgoji and Samuel Buhari who were arrested by Rivers State Govt Task Force on Covid 19 for flying people into Rivers State were arraigned in a Chief with charge no PMC/532C/2020 on 4 count charge bordering on disobedience to order of Rivers state Goverment of Nigeria prohibiting movement of person in and out of Rivers State to curtail spread of Corona Virus. They were remanded in prison till 19 May 2020 when their trial we commence. The Chief Magistrate D. D. Ihua-Maduenyi ordered that medical test be carried out on them to ascertain their status. SP Gladys Imegu Enoho OC Legal Rivers State Police command is the prosecuting counsel. Rivers State Attorney General Zacheus Adango was also in court.
