One of the pregnant female teenagers who was among the persons taken away by Eagle Crack Police unit of Rivers State Police command at TenderLife Rescue Initiative orphanage and transit home is now stranded at Elelenwo Health Centre, Obi/Akpor Local Government area of Rivers State,Nigeria after she gave birth to a baby boy,Revelation Agents has learned. We gathered that Miss Favour who was handed over to her own mother at the PortHarcourt home at Borokiri by Social Welfare Ministry has been sleeping in a church before she gave birth.
Our source disclosed that the young mother and her new born baby is still at the hospital because she do not have a place to take the baby to .
The source revealed that the Tenderlife transit home where the pregnant teenager and others were taken from by the Police and handed over to Rivers State Ministry of Social Welfare on unfounded allegations which was discovered by the Police to be false is still available but requires a written approval from the Government.
When contacted by our correspondent,Miss Favour’s Mother confirmed the development.She explained that the person who offered to assist them is yet to fix the place they would reside for the time being but she considering seeking assistance from Tender-Life Rescue Initiative organisation that provided succour for her pregnant child before the invasion of the place by Police on on allegations that was calculated to malign the image of the organisation.
She,however expressed Joy that the Executive Director of TenderLife Rescue Initiative and the organisation was exonerated of all allegations against them.
As at press time miss Favour and the new born baby is still at the hospital
