Kelvin Omoba the alleged killer of  a Keke taskforce member late Clement  Elewa has been remanded at the Port Harcourt correctional facility.
This was after he was arraigned before a magistrate court sitting in Port Harcourt that declined jurisdiction to entertain the matter.  Chief Magistrate A.O. Amadi-Nna  who directed that the case file be transmitted to the office of the Director of Public Prosecution for legal advice adjourned the matter to August 31st, 2020 since the charges are capital punishment in nature.
Our correspondent reports that Kelvin Omoba and three others who are still at large are facing two count charges of murder and conspiracy to murder.
Meanwhile, Cyprian Elewa father of the late Clement Elewa in an interview urged the security agencies to arrest the other three persons that allegedly killed his son.  Recall that last month a member of Keke taskforce identified as Clement Elewa was hacked to death by colleagues at Okporo/Rumuodara axis of the East-West road because of five thousand naira as the commission of tickets due him. And during the incident, Mr. Omoba Kelvin was arrested by the police.
