The Senate has noted with dismay the attitude of some lectures who compel students to buy textbooks published by them as a condition to take tests or write examinations.
This notice therefore is to inform all lecturers that while Senate is not against sale of textbooks published by the lecturers, Senate seriously frowns at compelling students to buy textbooks as a condition to write test or examinations.
Any lecturer engaged in such act will be punished. Please take note and comply accordingly.
