The Commissioner of Police, CP Joseph G. Mukan psc (+) on Thursday 31st, December 2020 decorated 22 Superintendents of Police who were found worthy in character and competence by the Inspector General of Police, IGP Mohammed Abubakar Adamu NPM mni and recommended to Police Service Commission for consideration and promotion.
Addressing Journalists after their Decoration, the CP Mukan thanked the
Inspector General of Police for considering them worthy and deserving of their new ranks and accordingly charged them to justify the confidence reposed in them by the Inspector General of Police, adding that, their elevation should be seen as a motivation and inspiration for them to do more for their fatherland.
Responding on behalf of the newly promoted Officers, the Officer in charge of Legal Department,Rivers State Police command, CSP Gladys Imegu, thanked the Police High Command for the elevation which she considers as meritorious and promised on behalf of her colleagues to redouble efforts in serving their fatherland, noting that “to whom much is giving much is expected.”
The Officers were decorated by the Commissioner of Police, Members of his Management Team and spouses of the promotees.
