A Port Harcourt-based Bolt-driver, Lucky Onisokumen declared missing by his family has narrated his ordeals in the hands of Inspector General of Police Tactical Unit Borikiri Port Harcourt,Rivers State after spending five days in their custody for yet to be established crime.
Recall that Lucky’s family since last week Thursday put out a statement on social media about his whereabouts including informing the Nigeria Police force who also radioed the control room.
It was discovered on Monday March 22,2021 that he was arrested by the men of the IGP Tactical team.
The traumatized Onisokume shortly after his release in an interview with newsmen explained how he was arrested by the men of the IGP Tactical Unit at Eneka axis of Rivers State last week Thursday.
He is accusing the Nigeria Police Force especially the IGP Tactical Unit of kidnapping him.
According to him the manner he was arrested and was denied access to his lawyer and family is suspicious.
Explaining how his family eventually knew about his arrest, the bolt driver said it was another inmate they arrested and released that alerted his family through the social media posts they made.
Mr. Onisokume however, narrated his experience while in their custody for the past five days.
Our correspondent reports that some of the family members and friends who visited the IGP Tactical Unit Borikiri expressed fears that the Police were up to something. They alleged that the men of the IGP Tactical unit denied arresting him but it was his Red color Toyota Avalon car they saw outside the station that exposed them.
