A thirty year old man, Henry(surname withheld) was arrested on Tuesday July 6,2021 by Police Officers attached to Rumupeirikom(Kala) Divisional Police headquarters, Port Harcourt,Rivers State for allegedly defiling and impregnating a 12 YEAR OLD girl in the area,Revelation Agents can report.
Henry who is being detained at Rumupeirikom(Kala) Divisional Police headquarters was said to have defiled the 12 year old girl who is a house help to his neighbour in their compound at Rumupeirikom.
In the meantime Centre for Basic Rights Protection and Accountability Campaign has called for immediate transfer of the matter to either State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID),port Harcourt or Human Rights desk of Rivers State Police headquarters, Moscow road,Port Harcourt for proper investigation with a view to arraigning the suspect in court if found culpable.
Mr Wiro also revealed that he has brought the incident to the notice of the Police Public Relations Officer in the State,SP Nnamdi Omoni .
As at press time we gathered that the suspect is about to be transferred to Rivers State Police headquarters,Moscow road
