A man said to be thirty five year old simplify identified as Bright has been arrested by Police Officers from Choba Police Division in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State for allegedly defiling a five year old daughter of his neigbbour.We learned that the mother became aware when the child started complaining of pains in her private part and upon interrogation by the mother,the child disclosed it was the said Bright who allegedly inserted his fingers in her private part.The mother of the child who did not want her name in print alleged that her landlord and a member of local vigilante at their residence in Rumuekeni in Obio/Akpor LGA beat her up for reporting the matter to the Police.When contacted,the spokesperson for the Rivers State Police command,DSP Grace Iringe Koko promised to get back to us but she was yet to revert as at press time.
