The Rivers State Police command says it is aware of the killing of Mr Erbenezer Matthew by gunmen on Wednesday night (May 3,2023) in Abarikpo community,Akoh kingdom, Ahoada East Local Government Area.
The spokesperson for the Rivers State Police ,SP Grace Iringe Koko confirmed the incident to Revelation Agents.
SP Koko said is not a cult clash and that the Police has identified the Kingpin who led the persons who killed the Youth leader but cannot disclosed his identity in order not to jeopardize investigation.
SP Koko added that efforts are on to arrest the kingpin and other persons responsibile for the killing.
Recall that the Ekeakita Hector Chinem, Public Relations Officer of Akoh kingdom in Ahoada East Local Government Area in an interview with our reporter disclosed that Mr Erbenezer Matthew was shot dead by gunmen in his father’s compound in Abarikpo community Wednesday night.
