Three persons died when three storey building collapsed at Kuntau, Gwale Local Government Area of Kano State on Friday,26,April,2024.
The National Emergency Management Agency(NEMA) in a statement on Friday disclosed that the three-storey building was under construction.
NEMA revealed that its Kano Territorial Office, in collaboration with other Government agencies and relevant stakeholders have initiated search and rescue operations.
It explained that during the operation, five trapped victims were rescued and evacuated to the hospital, where three victims were confirmed deceased.
NEMA added that the search and rescue operations are ongoing.
