Report reaching our news desk indicates that the Chief Security Officer of Eneka community,,Obio/Akpor Local Government Area Mr Henry Njoh was reportedly kllled by bullet that hit him under unclear circumstance at a Community Secondary School in the area on Thursday,20th June,2024.
We learnt that Mr Njoh went to the school to ensure that students who just finished their WAEC examinatioin Today afternoon conduct themselves orderly and go to their various homes.
Community sources disclosed that while the CSO was at the front of the school, a loud sound suggesting to be that of gun shot was heard and he fell down.The source stated that the CSO was rushed to hospital where he was confirmed dead.
Details of the incident is still sketchy.Meanwhile the community has been thrown into mourning following the death of the CSO who has been working tireless with other stakeholders to ensure security and safety of natives and residents.
When contacted,the President of Eneka Youth Congress(EYC) Cyprian Nworenwu said he cannot comment on the matter yet.
A stakeholder in the community informed us that the incident has been reported to the Eneka Police Division and that the Police is investigation the matter.
The Rivers State Police Command was yet to give official response on the matter as at press time.
