The Assistant Inspector General of Police,zone 16 Yenagoa,Adebola Hamzat played host to the Commander Joint Task Force South-South,Operation Delta Safe(OPDS)Rear Admiral NM Madugu in his office.
SP Gunn Emonena,Spokesperson for Zone 16 Police Command in a statement on 19th February,2025 disclosed that Rear Admiral Madugu stated that his visit is to familiarize himself with the Zone as critical stakeholder towards achieving the mandate of OPDS.
He further sued for a continued cordial working relationship, support and collaboration between the two agencies.
In his response, the AIG congratulated him for his recent deployment as Commander JTF SS OPDS, and on behalf of the officer and men of Zone 16 command heartily welcomed the guests.
AIG Hamzat further thanked them for identifying with the Zone and assuring them of strengthening the unity, collaboration and bond that is already in place between the two agencies.
High point of the visit was the signing of the visitors book by the JTF SS OPDS Commander, and plague presentations by both agencies as well as group photographs.
