Five masked unknown gunmen bearing AK 47-rifle robbed one Ezekiel John of his ash colour Honda Accord car with registration N0.ABC307AS Abuja by the side of Diobu Divisional Police headquarters, Afikpo street,Mile 1 Diobu, Port Harcourt on Friday 11,March,2022.
Ezekiel John who is a Pastor with The Apostolic Church in an interview with our correspondent disclosed that at about 7:45pm he drove his vehicle to Afikpo street to pick up his wife and children who went to the market to purchase the baskets of tomatoe, pepper when the unknown gunmen on mask accosted him,beat him up and made away with his Car which has already loaded the baskets of pepper and tomatoe.
Mr John stated that he quickly rushed down to Mile 1 Police station and the officers at the station called control room at Police headquarters Moscow road and asked him to go there.He explained that he went to Moscow road that night to properly incident the matter .
Meanwhile our correspondent who visited the place reports that the incident occurred by the side of the Mile 1 Police station with a Police checkpoint less than two minutes walk from the scene.
The acting spokesperson for the Rivers State Police command,DSP Grace Iringe Koko told our reporter that the Honda Accord car belonging to the Pastor was recovered by the Police on Saturday morning while Investigation is ongoing
