Amnesty International has condemned the arrest of journalist Olatunji Omirin of Daily Trust newspapers by Nigerian army today 30 January 2020 in Maiduguri,Borno State, Nigeria.
Ini a statement on its facebook page,Amnesty International said ” This shocking pattern of harassing journalists is unacceptable. Nigeria has an obligation to respect & protect the right to freedom of expression”.
