….To Face Buhari, Donald Duke, Others In 2019 General Elections

Former Nigeria Vice President Atiku Abubakar has emerged the candidate of Peoples Democratic Party in the just concluded primaries at Adokiye Amaseimake Stadium in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.

Atiku  emerged the winner with a total vote of 1532 to beat the other aspirants.

David Mark- 35 Votes

Jonah Jang- 19 Votes

Datti Baba Ahmed-05 Votes

Sule Lamido-96 Votes

KT Turaki- 65 Votes

Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso- 158 Votes

Ibrahim Dankwambo- 111 Votes

Attahiru Bafarawa- 48 Votes

Ahmed Markafi- 74 Votes while void votes is 68

Peoples Democratic Party is the major opposition party in the country while APC is the ruling party.

The Social Democratic Party (SDP) also held their Presidential Primaries Yesterday. Donald Duke, former Governor of Cross Rivers

State pulled 812 votes to defeat Professor Jerry Gana who pulled 611 votes.

The All Progressive Congress also held their party congress in Abuja to rectified the candidature of President Muhammadu Buhari as the candidate of the party in 2019 Presidential election
