The students of Ken Sari Wiwa Polythenics in Bori, Khana local Government area of Rivers State, Nigeria this Thursday early morning August 15,2019 foiled an armed robbery attack in one of the students lodge around TTC road axis of Bori, Revelation Agents has learned.
We gathered that the students both male and female came out in their numbers and resisted the armed robbers from entering the hostel.A student who would not want his name in print told our reporter that the armed robbers who saw that the students meant business took to their heels.
When contacted, the Chief Judge of Student Union Government (SUG) comrade Dumlebabari Manson confirmed the incident.
It would be recalled that the students had raised alarm on the incessant robbery attacks on students lodge in Bori in recent times.
They also revealed that 25-30 female students have been raped in the past weeks.
In his reaction, the spokesperson of Rivers state Police command, Nnamdi Omoni had said the Bori Police Divisional headquarters is not aware of such incidents as the matter was never reported to the Police.
