Two persons was arrested on Wednesday 15, February 2023 in connection to the killing of nine persons in a shoot out between two factions of Greenland cult groups led by VIP and Ebuka at Ikata,Upata kingdom in Ahoada East Local Government area of Rivers State.
The Police spokesperson in Rivers State SP Grace Iringe Koko confirmed the arrest of two persons on Wednesday afternoon February 15,2023 to our reporter.
She added that investigation is ongoing and the suspects are giving useful information to the Police.
Recall that Ikata community was thrown into pandemonium on Tuesday 14, February,2023 following the killings.
As at press time the camp of the Cultists has been destroyed by joint operation by the Divisional Police headqurters in Ahoada town and Joint Task Force.
