The Director General of National Agency for Prohibition of Trafficking In Persons(NAPTIP), Binta Adamu Bello on Thursday,February 6,2025 received delegation from Cameroon who came to understudy the Agency’s operations at actualizing it’s mandate.
The team was led by the Cameroonian Minister of External Relations, Akam Haus Rodrigues. The Nigerian delegation was led by the Assistant Director in the Ministry of Interior, Ukpenestusy E. Bassey, and the UNODC representative Chiara Atiura.
The main thrust of the visit was to effect a formidable/impregnable infrastructure for cross-border cooperation against human trafficking.
The DG NAPTIP who was ably represented by the SA, Barr Hassan Tahir assured the Cameroonian delegation of the Agency’s readiness to effectively partner with them.
