Chief Magistrate Court Remands To Police Custody Man,38 Over Continuous Defilement Of Nine Year Old Lover’s Niece

Chief Magistrate I.O Agbesor presiding over a Magistrate Court in Ozuoba,Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State on Tuesday,June 14,2022 declined jurisdiction in the case of alleged countless defilment and trial with ordeal of nine year old girl by an accused Preye Harry aged thirty eight years.
Chief Magistrate Israel .O.Agbesor after going through the charge sheet when the accused was arraigned in court declined jurisdiction and ordered that the suspect should be taken back to Ozuoba Police Division and advised he be transferred to State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department that can arraign the suspect in a Court of competent Jurisdiction.
Meanwhile a lawyer with Legal Care Advocacy Foundation Jane O.A James Esq holding watching brief for the victim told our reporter that they will follow up on the directive of the Chief Magistrate.
