Civil Rights Council a Human Rights group in Port Harcourt, Rivers state, Nigeria has donated handset to Mrs Margret Alfred Alex who was stripped naked at Mile 3 park in Diobu ,PortHarcourt on April 1st, 2019 on false alarm accusations of stealing.
The token was presented to her Today 7th May in her house by Prince Wiro the spokesperson of Civil Rights Council in PortHarcourt on behalf of the organization. Prince Wiro is also the publisher of Revelation Agents Online News (revelationagents.com)
Prince Wiro during the presentation said “the Civil Rights Council PortHarcourt in a show of solidarity decided to give her the little gift since she lost her handset during the incident “
Mr. Wiro further stated that Civil Rights Council is determined to follow her case to its logical conclusion even as the matter is already in court.
Responding, Mrs Alex thanked the organization for the kind gesture and stated that she is overwhelmed by the show of love
It will be recalled that Mrs Margret Alfred Alex who is also a mother of two children was stripped naked on false alarm of stealing and it was discovered she did not steal.
Her money and handset was stolen by some of the hoodlums who stripped her naked on the day of the incident
Three suspects arrested in connection to the offence was charged before Magistrate court 2 in Town PortHarcourt where they are standing trials
