Three Young Men are in undisclosed hospital over the matchet cuts they received from Police Officers from Eagle Crack (Commissioner squad) of Rivers State Police command. Mr. Opuwari Bibobra who spoke on behalf of Solomon Cletus and Ikeji Michael told Revelation Agents that they were in front of their compound at Manilla street in D-line in PortHarcourt Rivers State, Nigeria on Tuesday 15 October 2019 when the Police officers came and asked them to lie down and they obeyed. The Police officers started using matches to flog them and took them to the station. He said ‘at the station they continued flogging and cutting us with Machets’.
Mr Opuwari explained that they were released on Thursday 17 October, 2019 unconditionally by the intervention of their lawyer. He said they will seek legal redress in court. The spokesperson of Rivers State Police command, DSP is yet to respond to text messages by Revelation Agents as at time of filing this report.
