Mr Chukwuemeka Odili younger brother to 40 years Enuduisu Godday Odili a native of Delta State who died in one of the brothels along Azikiwe Street Mile 2,Diobu ,PortHarcourt, Rivers State Nigeria has called for a thorough investigation to unravel the circumstance that led to the brother’s death.
In an interview with our reporter, Mr Chukwuemeka said they are suspecting foul play in the death of their brother as they were informed hours after the incident.
He called on the Commissioner of Police, CP Joseph Mukan to ensure justice is served in the matter.
The spokesperson of Rivers State Police command, SP Nnamdi Omoni in an with our reporter confirmed the incident adding that the lady who camped the deceased in her room in the brothel has been arrested by the Azikiwe Divisional Police headquarters and matter transferred to State Criminal Investigation Department, PortHarcourt for further investigation.
Source revealed to our correspondent that the deceased lodged in the brother on Thursday night 3rd December 2020 with a commercial sex worker but he family was informed of his death on Friday 4th December 2020 when they called his phone number and a Police Officer picked and asked them to come to the Azikiwe Divisional Police headquarters, Illabouchi, Mile 2 Diobu .
