Residents of Aggrey road in old Port Harcourt township in Rivers State,Nigeria was in shock this morning August 22,2019 to discovered dead body with a lady bathed with acid close to the Rivers State Internal Revenue Service (RIRS) office.
Reports say the lady a mother of four and a native of Benue State was picked up by a male client some days ago.
Close examination of her body indicates she was strangled and bathed with substance suspected to be acid.
As at press time her body was still at the place.
Spokesperson of Rivers State Police command Nnamdi Omoni was yet to respond to text messages sent to his mobile line by our reporter.
From May,2019 to today four women have been killed in Port Harcourt and their body found in a manner that suggests they wee strangled.
