International Federation of Women Lawyers FIDA Rivers State has called on the Rivers State Police Command to produce one Bishop Felix Okpara Duruebube of new generation church in Eliozu, who was arrested and detained by officers of Rumuodumaya Police Division for allegedly defiling a sixteen year old girl.
Speaking to our correspondent, Publicity Secretary FIDA Rivers, Sophia Afolayan, disclosed that they received a complaints from the victim on 17 June, 2022, on how she has been constantly sexually abused by the suspect Bishop Felix Okpara Duruebube.
Afolayan said that on 18 June, 2022, the suspect was arrested and detained by officers of Rumuodumaya Police Division.
According to her, FIDA got an information that the suspect was been released every night to go home and return the next morning, noting that Bishop Felix Duruebube is yet to return to the station after being released by an officer named Rebecca on Tuesday, 21 June.

Meanwhile,Bishop Felix Okpara Duruebube in an exclusive interview with our correspondent, denied the allegation.
Bishop Duruebube stated that his accuser is being sponsored by one Queen who he turned down her marriage proposal to tarnish his image and his Ministry.
He said “if is true I raped the girl, let me die”.
Bishop Duruebube noted that the voice note in circulation was edited.
The spokesperson for the Rivers State Police command DSP Grace Iringe Koko was yet to respond to text messages sent to her mobile number by our reporter as at press time.
