The Presiding Pastor of Salvation Ministries worldwide,Pastor David Ibiyeomie has disclosed that giving to the poor and needy is a pathway to lasting wealth.
Pastor Ibiyeomie made the disclosure during his teaching on Lasting Wealth in Kingdom of God during the second service at Salvation Ministries headquarters in PortHarcourt,Rivers state,Nigeria on Sunday 18th August,2024.
The Presiding Pastor of Salvation Ministries making reference to bible book of 1Timothyl 6 verse 17-18 which read “charge them that are rich in this world that they be not highminded,nor trust in uncertain riches but in living God,who giveth us richly all things to enjoy.
“That they do good,that they be rich in good works,ready to distribucte,willing to communicate” said the essence of God’s blessing is for us to be blessing to others.
Pastor Ibiyeomie also made another reference to bible book of Job 12 verse 16 where Job said “I was a father to the poor and the cause which i knew not,I searched out”.
Pastor Ibiyeomie explained that when people give,it will be difficult to waste.He maintained that if you are a genuine member of salvation Ministries,you must be a giver.
The servant of God also encouraged members to bring food items,money to house fellowship that will be given to the needy at various home cell while instructing the house fellowship leaders to ensure that the items are only given to those who actually needs them not to everybody.
