Governor Siminalayi Fubara is to redeem one hundred million naira bounty placed on infamous killed cult leader,David Gift aka 2Baba anytime soon.
The revelation was made by Commissioner of Police in Rivers State,CP Olatunji Disu while breifing pressmen at Police Area Command,Ahoada on Monday on the killing of Izuma Odiereke,aka Solution the Greenland Cult leader in Ahoada West Local Government Area.
CP Disu said “the Governor has called me and assured me of redeeming the one hundred million naira bounty placed on 2Baba.Nobody kills anybody and goes free,let alone,a Police officer.
“The Governor said he will pay the money so that those who gave the Police information can get their money.We know the informants,they will get their money”.
Recall that some group notably Igbu-Akoh Youth Association had in a statement by its Public Relations Officers,Comrade Hector Ekeakita called on the Rivers State Governor to fulfill his promise.
The corpse of 2Baba the Iceland cult leader was retrieved by the Police on February 23,2024 after colleagues of the gang leader carted his deadbody away when he died in an encounter with the Police on February,17,2024.
