Greater Women and Youth Support Forum Condemns Attack On Pst Tonye Cole,Samuel Nwanosike,Others

….Urge Politicians To Abide By The Rule Of Law
The Greater Women and Youth Support Forum has condemned the reported attacks on Pastor Tonye Cole,the Governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress party(APC) in Rivers State and Samuel Nwanosike,Chairman of Ikwerre Local Government Area in Rivers state,Nigeria.
In a press statement by the group,which was signed by the Chairperson Evelyn Nwilene and Peace Bai and made available to Revelation Agents,the Non Governmental Organization described the attacks as satanic and a threat to democracy.
The Greater Women and Youth Support Forum reminded politicians and electorates that election cannot be won by guns but by good use of PVC to elect credible leaders during elections.
The group in the statement urged political gladiators in Rivers state to abide by the rule of law and tenets of democracy during and after the elections.
The group also called on security agencies to investigate the circumstances that led to the attacks on Pastor Tonye Cole and Samuel Nwanosike as well as other heinous crimes against peace loving people of the state with a view to bring the perpetrators to book. The group urged security agencies to live up to its responsibility of protecting lives and property before,during and after the 2019 general elections.
