An eyewitness says some members of the National Youth Service Corps(NYSC) who were on their way to Port Harcourt from NYSC camp in Ondo State was abducted on Tuesday (May 16,2023) night.
According to report by Nigeria Info 92.3fm, PortHarcourt the eyewitness whose sister-in-law was among those abducted said the incident happened at about 9pm along the Rumuji axis of the East-West Road in Emohua Local Government Area. He said five of the corps members were able to escape.
The Rivers State Police Command confirmed the abduction. Spokesperson of the command, SP Grace Iringe-Koko explained that some of the corps members have been rescued while efforts are on to rescue the remaining corps members.
